The Wildgame line of deer cams is one of the most popular on this trail cam review site. And there is a reason. They work well and they are not ridiculously expensive. The 6 megapixel is a great example of a quality hunting camera. As with every model and brand there are its quirks but this is one of the most popular cameras thats gone through our trail cam review and its around a hundred bucks.

That’s the basics. Here is the trail cam review. This camera is small, about the size of a box of baking soda. This camera is camouflaged. This helps to conceal it from animals as well as people. It will take pics at night that are of very good quality. Daylight same deal very good quality. One thing to pay attention with this trail cam is that the lens doesn’t have a hood. The hood helps to keep the lens from being exposed to too much sun etc. and taking pics of nothing. One easy way to deal with this is to place the camera so the sun is behind or to the side of it. Never straight on or else you’ll get a bunch of pics of nothing.
After reading lots of trail cam reviews a few things about this game camera can be summed up. Most people consider it a good purchase. They say it was easy to use and set up right out of the box. People seemed to find the quality of both the night time and day time pictures to be excellent to good quality. Most recommend using the SD cards as these allow you to quickly change out the cards and leave the area. Then when you get back home, pop it in your computer and feast your eyes on what is running around in your area. On a side note as with all trail cams you should invest in a lock box/ chain setup. These little devils are attractive to light fingered people. They see these hundred dollars toys in the middle of the woods, no one around and zip, there goes your camera. So lock it up and keep it yours. Just a bit of advice from the trail cam review crew.
Not everybody found these trail cameras the greatest thing ever of course. A few of the complaints I ran across are that the trigger speed is slow. This is combated by pointing the cam up or down the trail not across it. Water holes or feeding areas are also great for any camera. Another complaint is no burst mode. A burst will take several pics one right after the other when something sets it off. Not totally necessary but something a few people wished this one had.
